Shellac is a leading New York based post-production company specializing in fashion, branding, and non-fiction films. Founded by director/editor Max Nova, whose broadcast work includes Emmy-nominated documentaries for VH1, AMC, and IFC, Shellac’s pioneering fashion film work is regularly featured on Nowness, Vice, and Slamxhype. My role was to collaborate with Max Nova and develop the site from the ground up. It features realtime filtering based on categories and a back-end that is easy for the Shellac team to upload new projects.
